If you follow us on social media, you have seen Teri and I record videos from time to time talking about what’s going on in the world and sharing our thoughts to all of our Flashpoint family and friends. Now we want to take it to the next level, take a big step of faith and make a studio here at home.

The Plan:
On our property, we own a storehouse (that’s what we call it). As you’ve seen on Facebook, we have a lot of things stored in there everything from revival history to Christmas decorations. But… If we’re going to create a studio, I’ve got to find a place for storage.

Phase 1
Install a second floor in the building. The floor joists are being made right now and soon construction will begin to install the second floor. Once the second floor is complete, we will move everything that’s on the floor upstairs that will give us the first floor to create studio space.

Phase 2
Texas does not always have the best weather and sometimes we’ve had to do programs from my house praying the power would stay on. That’s what we want to be able to do from the new studio. Part of that plan is to install an emergency generator, ensuring we have power at all times. This is a BIG expense but it’s foundational to our success.

Phase 3
Plumbing and Electrical.
Once the second floor is in, we will begin the process of insulating and running electrical everywhere we will need it in the studio. Power is already in the building we just need to get it run to the right places. Our well is a short distance from the building now… we just need facilities inside. It’s not very practical to run down to the house for bathroom facilities :-).

Phase 4
Once all of this is done, then comes to fun part of building the set, soundproofing, purchasing and moving equipment in. We already have some gear but will need to add to it and make sure we have everything we need to go LIVE from here at any time.
So what do we want to produce? Teri will begin to produce a podcast. She has a strong passion for women, mama bears, and all of those that want to stand up for their families in this nation.
I’ll do more programming as well. There’s a need for a more relaxed podcast style program that I can go more in-depth with a guest. And that’s just the need for right now. There’s so much more on the drawing board, but this is what we need to get started right away.
